What do 5X and 20X mean, and what should you check first?
We currently use Pro 5X and Pro 20X to distinguish product options. Check included subscription benefits, your account's eligibility and how often you use the service. The multiplier in the name does not translate directly into a fixed number of tasks.
Official usage information may change. Models, task complexity, context length and local or cloud usage affect consumption. Check your account's usage page for the most accurate view of remaining capacity.
- Pro 5X: for people who often reach Plus limits
- Pro 20X: for sustained, frequent use
When an upgrade may help
For occasional writing, learning and everyday questions, first check whether Plus already meets your needs. Compare Pro 5X and 20X if frequent coding, research or extended work consistently hits your current limits.
Higher tiers do not make every model and feature unlimited. The provider may apply separate limits to particular models or features.
- Choose based on how often you reach usage limits
- Avoid paying for capacity you will not use
Confirm current availability before buying
Official plan descriptions and our recharge channel eligibility are separate matters. Check activation, renewal and plan changes individually. Whether we can process them depends on the selected option's terms, account state and channel availability.
- Confirm the option supports your situation
- Ask support first if eligibility or remaining time treatment is unclear
